Anns career began in the construction industry in 1986 working for a General Contractor/Construction Manager in St. Cloud, MN. Her position started as Receptionist/Secretary, and she worked her way up to Project Assistant.
In 1989, Ann took a position at Intra Financial Corporation as Secretary. She also did work for AmericInn International, a division of Intra Financial Corporation. During her three years there, she completed a wide variety of tasks for both companies and was promoted to Administrative Assistant of Operations. Her duties consisted of working on motels under construction, follow-up of completion of all punch-list and warranty work, administration of INN-PRESSIVE Club program, customer service, purchasing furniture, fixtures and equipment for motels under construction, supplying on-going supplies to motels, and relief help to employees at the Radisson Suite Hotel, a division of Intra Financial Corporation.
During the next four years, Ann went back to the construction industry working for two different General Contractors. She was responsible for various office management duties including being the safety director, bookkeeper assistant, as well as assisting the estimators in the bidding/budget process and project closeout. During this time, between working for each General Contractor, Ann worked for Central Group Companies, a St. Cloud, MN, based lodging management company, as assistant to the purchaser of all furniture, fixtures and equipment. She was also in charge of development correspondence and the draw request disbursement for new motel projects.
On April 15, 1996, Ann joined ETC Enterprises, Inc., as Administrative Assistant. Her responsibilities included overseeing the day to day functions of the office, completing development work for new motel projects, processing applications for payment requests with banks and title companies, coordinating project closeout and repair work, assisting with market studies and financial packages, etc.
In 1999 Anns position with the company changed as she became Sales and Project Manager of Vision Purchasing Group, a division of ETC Enterprises, Inc. In 2005 she was promoted to Vice President of Procurement. She is responsible for generating and meeting sales goals; meeting with prospective clients; interior design of all furniture, fixtures and equipment as well as submittals to franchise review boards, architects, owners, contractors, and manufacturers; designing room layouts; completing budgets; negotiating prices and purchasing of all furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies for all motel projects. She also assists in the delivery logistics and installation of the FF&E items in the motel prior to opening.
